Pitti Report – Black Tie at Pitti Uomo 109

Day 1

Delivering bow ties to friends & black tie setting the tone for the week

Our Florence trip began on Monday 12th with our arrival and first evening with a black tie reception at the beautiful setting of the St Regis Florence (@stregisflorence), with Michael Andrews Bespoke (@michaelandewsbespoke), Angel Ramos (@angelramos.ny), Hespoke Style (@hespokestyle) and The Dalmore (@thedalmore). There was a live band playing and a packed dance floor that set the tone for the week.

The evening also meant a few special bow tie deliveries: one for Peter Zottolo (@urbandcomposition), who had forgotten his back in the US; a new Continental for Nigel (@ignoreatyourperil) to pair with his off-white jacket; an upgrade for Andreas (@flannelandtweed); and a very special piece for Angel (angelramos.ny) more on that soon. We loved seeing so many friends of la Bowtique already wearing their bow ties.

Mickael wore Fox Brothers (@foxbrothers1772) flannel trousers with an off-white dinner jacket, a pleated dinner shirt, a four-pleat round cummerbund, and a soon-to-be-released bow tie: Jacques.

Day 2

On Tuesday 13th, Mickael spent the day at the fair meeting suppliers and customers and presenting our 2026 collection. The evening continued with the traditional Plaza Uomo party (@plazauomo), where we caught up with friends including Carlos Roberto (@bycarlosroberto), Vassilis (@vbespokeathens), Loïc (@bienluienapris), Christopher, and many others.

Afterwards, we hosted our black tie dinner at Locale Firenze (@localefirenze) with our wholesale partners: Guy from The Decorum Bangkok (@thedecorumbkk), Charles from The Decorum Singapore (@thedecorumsg), Chicho from Casa Sartorial (@casasartorial), Pablo from House of Mercury (@mercury.label), Tim and Spencer from Tailors Keep (@tailorskeep), Mario from La Tigre (@shoplatigre), Vassilis and Yana from Bespoke Athens, Jason from Sarai (@stylebysarai), and Simon and Manish from Permanent Style (@permanentstyle). Thank you all for joining us and thank you to Locale for hosting such a memorable evening.

Straight after dinner, we headed to the Smoked Bone party (@smokedbone) at House of Nine (@houseofninefirenze). We were welcomed by mannequins wearing our bow ties, as we proudly supply Smoked Bone / Fortela (@fortela_), with live music and dancing already in full swing. We spotted more friends wearing our black tie pieces, including Felix from House of Mercury, Rob from The Observer / Thousand Yard Style (@thousandyardstyle), Sasha from L’Intemporel (@intermporal_magazine), and Suzan from Outfit Narrative (@outfitnarrative).

That night, Mickael wore his pink moiré jacket with a white marcella shirt, a four-pleat cummerbund, and the Brandon bow tie.

Day 3

Black Tie at WM Brown Party

Wednesday 14th brought the much-anticipated WM Brown (@wmbrownproject) black tie party at Sina Villa Medici (@sinavillamedici), always a highlight of the trip. While we couldn’t capture everyone, we spotted many la Bowtique wearers, including Matt Hranek in his namesake bow tie, Pablo (@mercury.label), Andreas (@flannels_and_tweed), Michal (@scollare_stockholm), Johan (@h._winter), Daniel (@the.second.button), Clea (@classic_nonchalance), Patryk (@dabrowskigoral), David (@thebluesuitcorrespondent), Anthony and Kelly, and Milad (milad_abedi), who left with a silk pyjama top.

Mickael wore his Fox Brothers (@foxbrothers1772) Negroni Tweed flannel smoking jacket with the Ritchie bow tie, soon to be released.

Day 4

On Thursday, our final day, we attended the J. Mueser (@j.mueser) x House of Mercury drinks at Alimentari Mariano—an intimate moment to stay inside, slow down, and catch up with friends and family. We then ended the trip with a dinner organised by Sasha from L’Intemporel Magazine and la Bowtique at Trattoria Buzzino, where two opera singers animated the evening and we reconnected with the francophone community: a perfect close to a busy week.

Mickael wore a classic single-breasted dinner suit with a four-pleat cummerbund and the Medium Dropped bow tie.

Thank you once again to all our friends, customers, and suppliers for making this such a special trip. We can’t wait to be back this summer
