Red Carpet Review of Emmys 2025 with best and worst dressed

Nate Bargatze @natebargatze

The host of the Emmy Awards! Nate looks fantastic in his dinner suit, that brown shade suits him perfectly. I love the concealed placket shirt, the patent shoes, the overall fit, and the self-tie bow tie. I’m not sold on the chunky watch (keep it discreet), and I’m curious about what’s going on with the right sleeve, but aside from that, this is perfectly fitted for a host! 9/10

It’s a shame better pictures aren’t available, because he might be the best dressed of the evening. The dinner suit fits flawlessly, the style is impeccable, and the self-tied bow tie is perfect. He pairs it with a crisp white shirt with white studs, a white pocket square, and black patent shoes. When in doubt, always stick to a traditional dinner suit! 10/10

Carson Kressley @carsonkressley

A great example of how a statement dinner jacket can work! It might not be to everyone’s taste, but Carson wears it beautifully, and it complements his hair and eye color perfectly. He pairs it with a crisp white shirt with elegant white studs, a well-tied self-tie bow tie, black trousers, and black patent shoes — truly an outfit made for a party! Just remember, when choosing a statement dinner jacket, you need the personality and confidence to pull it off. 9/10 — that watch, however, makes no sense.

Timothy Simons @timothycsimons

This is actually a first in my reviews: someone wearing a “dinner suit” with matching shorts. A two-button, notch-lapel green jacket, paired with a black shirt, no bow tie, and ankle-high boots. I honestly don’t know how to describe what I’m seeing. It’s probably best if we just stop here.
